Our formulary includes a list of drugs covered by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska Medicare Advantage plans. The formulary may change during the year.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska Medicare Advantage Core, Connect, Access and Secure plans cover both brand name drugs and generic drugs. Generic drugs have the same active-ingredient formula as a brand name drug. Generic drugs usually cost less than brand name drugs and are rated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be as safe and effective as brand name drugs.

If you would like a paper copy of the prescription drug list for your plan, please contact Member Services at 888-488-9850 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Central Time. From Oct. 1 through March 31; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Central Time, and Monday through Friday from April 1 through Sept. 30. TTY users should call 711.

Prescription Drug Home Delivery Service

Members have the option to get a 100-day supply of ongoing medications home delivered using your local pharmacy or Amazon Pharmacy (our preferred home-delivery pharmacy). Members who fill their prescription using the 100-day home-delivery supply could save money and time getting their prescriptions. Please allow seven to ten days for your medications to be delivered. If your medication delivery is late, please reach out to the pharmacy. Amazon Pharmacy can provide the lowest out-of-pocket costs on your medications. Medicare Prescription Payment Plan

The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan is a new payment option to help you manage your out-of-pocket drug costs, starting in 2025.

This new payment option works with your current drug coverage, and it can help you manage your drug costs by spreading them across monthly payments that vary throughout the year (January – December). This payment option might help you manage your expenses, but it doesn’t save you money or lower your drug costs.
