As a BCBSNE member, you have access to a variety of resources and experts to help you stay as healthy as possible. Medicare Advantage members have access to preventive health newsletters that include valuable information about your health and your health plan.
Interoperability - Member Access
Interoperability is a new federal rule from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), designed to give greater access and transparency across healthcare systems. BCBSNE Medicare Advantage members who would like electronic access to their medical records, such as claims information, can now set up an account through a CMS-certified third-party application. By setting up an account, you give permission for BCBSNE to share claims and health information with the verified vendor. The intention is to create more access and transparency to health information exchanged between insurers, doctors and members.
